Sewer well own hands. Sewage well yourself: tips and tricks

When planning and building private houses, their owners make a lot of effort to improve the comfort of the home. Special attention  pay attention to water supply and sewage systems. It is important to properly design them to make the house cozy, and all the needs of the tenants were met. For the operation of the diversion system, it is necessary to build diversified sewerage wells. What are they like? How to make a sewer well with your own hands?

  • Lookout. They are necessary for free access to communications. Constructions of this type are installed in places where it is particularly important to monitor the condition of sewage systems. These are areas on which pipes of different diameters are connected; where the direction or slope of the pipeline changes. Also, you need to have access to systems on too long straight pipe segments.
  • Differential. Buildings of this type must be built in areas where there are pipe-level differences. Thanks to a well, the owner of the house can control the rate of progress of drains through the system; equalize the release of the sewage system with the water level, if the treated effluents are discharged into the reservoir. This design is needed if the height of the drop exceeds 300 mm. If it is less, you can do with an inspection well.
  • Rotary. Thanks to the constructions of this type, it is possible to obtain free access to pipeline sections on which there are bends. In such areas, there is always a high risk of pipe clogging and there is a need for enhanced monitoring.
  • Filtration. The structures are designed for post-treatment of waste water. They are equipped only in areas with permeable soils - sandy or sandy loamy. Pay attention to the depth of groundwater. Aquifer  should be located not less than 1 m below the structure. Otherwise, drains are poorly filtered. An alternative to such structures is underground filtering fields.
  • Cumulative. Reservoirs of this type are improved cesspools. Their main advantage - environmental Safety. The constructions are completely sealed. Accumulating in them, the effluents do not penetrate into the soil and aquifers. Minus - capacity should be regularly pumped out. It is necessary to correctly calculate the volume of the tank, so that you can rarely go to the sewerage service.

What materials can I use

To make a sewer well in a private house, you can use concrete, reinforced concrete, wood, plastic. The two best options are to build with your own hands of concrete rings or buy and install a plastic construction of industrial production. Plastic structures are factory billets. They are easy to install, but inferior to concrete rings for many characteristics. To make a choice, it is necessary to understand the features of devices of both types.

Plastic sewerage wells

Than good plastic constructions

Until recently, plastic was little used in outdoor sewage systems. The reason is low frost resistance. The structures burst into severe frosts, they began to leak. Now this problem is solved. There are new varieties of polymer materials that can work in the temperature range from +70 to -50 degrees Celsius.

Manufacturers have taken care of the release of models of different diameters, so the owner of the house can only calculate the required volume and choose the product of a suitable size. Plastic blanks are much lighter than concrete rings. To properly make a well for sewage, it is enough to mount a tank. This can be done even alone.

Products made of plastic are absolutely impermeable to water, perfectly withstand the effects of chemicals, do not rust. All this is an absolute plus. But the minuses are enough. The material does not cope with mechanical loads, so it can not withstand the pressure of the soil. Designs should not be installed in places where traffic can pass. In terms of durability, they are much inferior to concrete.

Concrete rings - reliability and durability

If we compare the characteristics of strength, reliability, durability of concrete and plastic structures, the conclusions are obvious. Reservoirs made of concrete rings can serve several decades. In the event of faults, the wells can be repaired. In this plastic can not be compared with concrete.

By some parameters concrete rings still inferior to plastic. They are much more expensive, but this is not the only drawback. To independently build a sewer well of them, you have to put a lot of effort. The structures are very heavy, they can sink under their own weight. For installation, special tools are required.

When choosing it is important to find products made of high-quality water-resistant material. Also, you will have to spend additional money on good waterproofing of joints. Otherwise, the structure will leak. Contaminated water will flow into the soil, and water can penetrate into the well itself from the surface.

Concrete rings come in different sizes. When calculating the volume of the tank, it is worth considering that the optimal height of the structure is 2.5 m. Wells are often made from products of types KC-10, KC-20. There are rings of non-standard sizes, but with their search can be difficult.

For ease of installation, many products are equipped with a so-called. locks, thanks to which you can install them without displacement. The more precisely the rings are fitted to each other, the more tightly, more durable, more reliable the finished structure is.

How to make a sewer well yourself

How to make a sewer well? When choosing the type of construction, consider the amount of waste. If their number does not exceed 1 cubic meter. per day, the structure may have an outlet for sewage into the soil. Bacteria living in the ground are quite capable of coping with the processing of a small amount of organic substances.

If the effluent is more than 1 cubic meter. or contain aggressive chemicals from detergents, washing powders, etc., the design either must be absolutely hermetic, or have a system for cleaning contaminated water. In this case, it makes sense to choose a plastic container, and the concrete must be carefully waterproofed.

Often they make structures with a filtering bottom. They are suitable for drains without chemicals. Waste, passing through filters, is cleaned so that with their further decomposition there are no problems. The depth of such a well depends on the permeability of the soil and the level of groundwater. If an inspection, nodal, delta or rotary sewage well is planned, it must be airtight.

Requirements for the installation of wells for sewerage

The size of the structure depends primarily on its purpose. If it is a question of a storage facility, then the more it will be, the less often it will be necessary to call up the sewers. On the other hand, too much sewage can cause an unpleasant smell on the site.

The standard rate, which is used in calculating the volume, is 150-200 liters of water per person per day. However, water consumption is often much higher than these figures. For example, in homes where there are many plumbing fixtures  and household appliances using water, the consumption can be 240-250 liters per day for 1 person.

To determine the desired volume, 200-240 liters (depending on consumption) is multiplied by the number of people living in the house. The result will show the average water discharge by all tenants per day. It should be multiplied by 3. This is the optimal volume of the well. Next, calculate the height of the structure, taking into account the standard size of the rings.

Stages of sewerage well construction

  • Excavation. How to dig a sewer well - in an open or closed way? Since the structure is shallow, the first method is preferable: first, dig a hole of the required depth, and then the rings are assembled into it. Even if the soil is free-flowing, it is not necessary to resort to complex technologies, it is enough to install temporary formwork to strengthen the walls.

The closed method is used less often. In this case, prepare a pit for one ring, install it. Then they continue to remove the soil. The ring gradually descends. When it is at a sufficient depth, the following is mounted on it and continue to work.

  • The bottom of the structure. First equip the mounting cushion - cover the bottom of the pit with rubble. The layer must be at least 40 cm. The bulk material is compacted, the finished concrete bottom of the structure or the slab is installed from above. If the structure should be completely sealed, then only the bottom of industrial production, made especially for rings of the desired diameter, will do.
  • Construction of walls. The rings are mounted on a cement-sand mortar. It is important to mount them exactly one on the other. When the solution dries, the seams and joints are waterproofed. The well is connected to the sewage system, the injection points of the pipes are also sealed.
  • Completion of work. Lastly, a lid with a hatch is installed, it is insulated. Install vent pipe. It should rise above the ground by at least 60 cm.

Important! Pay special attention to the ventilation system. In the process of decomposition of organic substances, an explosive gas is formed. It is necessary to ensure that it does not accumulate in the reservoir. This can lead to negative consequences.

How to make a well for sewage and what it should be, each home owner determines for himself. The article gives general recommendations on the arrangement of the structure. If you do not have confidence that you can do everything yourself, contact a specialist. Practically in each district there are companies that are engaged in the design and installation of sewerage systems. In the absence of proper skills, it is better not to experiment and contact such a firm.

An important part of the sewerage system is a well for sewerage. If the sewer wells work well, then no one even thinks about their availability. However, as soon as the functions of the wells are violated, there are very big problems.

Sewer well

Although, at first glance, it seems that the installation of a sewage well is simple, because the design is quite simple, but professionals need professional work. If the installation of a sewer well is not done correctly, this can lead to a negative result. In the end, you have to do everything again. Time goes by, and you still do not have a sewage well. Therefore, you need to contact professionals who have experience in this field, as well as the necessary knowledge and skills.

It is usually necessary to build a sewer system when building a new house. In this case, you need to prepare for the work and follow the recommendations of professionals. You also need to stock up on certain tools. Sewer system will make life much more comfortable. It should also be taken into account that only a few days will be spent on work, and almost all procedures can be done by themselves. Pumping of sewerage wells is carried out by special services.

Types of wells

Not every owner of the villa can hire a professional team of builders who will install a well for sewerage. In addition, if you follow the instructions, there will be no difficulties in the construction process. First you should choose the type of septic tank for a private house.

There are several basic types of septic tanks:

  • Inspection wells, located on straight sections. Such facilities provide full control of the condition of the sewerage network.
  • Rotary. When installing such structures, you can avoid a lot of problems associated with the twists of the communication network. For example, in the places of pipe bends there may be leaks.
  • Nodal wells are mounted in places of divorce.
  • Settings of the differential type  Are arranged in that case when conditions of an arrangement of a site do not allow to establish pipes on one level.
  • Cumulative installations represent the end of the sewage system. They are used to store wastewater.

Sewage systems in the country can be performed in various forms. The simplest structure is a round shaft, or a rectangular installation. Such wells are easy to install and maintain.

Location of well

One of the main problems that arise during the construction of a septic tank in the country is the choice of the location of its installation. In the case of hiring a professional team, you do not have to worry about the fineness of installing a well. However, if it is decided to be equipped independently, it will be necessary to learn about the special norms of SNIP.

First, you need to become more thoroughly acquainted with the terrain on which the well is planned to be installed. It is necessary to determine, from where the pipe will be removed - from the basement or the basement floor. It is also necessary to determine from which side of the building the septic tank is located.

Attention! The location of the storage well at the dacha should be made in such a way that it is accessible for the access of machinery that pumps out sewage. It should be equipped with access roads.

Also it is worth taking into account several other features of choosing a place:

  • When creating a well with your own hands, it is required to know SNIPs without fail. Between the structures of the sight type, a distance of 15 m should be made. The first well should be located at a distance from the house no closer than 3 m and no further than 12 m. The filtration well is installed at the maximum distance from the well or mine from which it is assembled drinking water. The distance between them must be at least 30 m.
  • In the sewage system, an important role is played by pipes through which sewage flows. In the gap that is located between the withdrawal of the sewage network from the house and the well, do not make turns that are not equipped with wells. Neglect of this rule can affect the effectiveness of the whole system - waste water will accumulate in the pipes.

When installing the sewage system in the country, it is important to take into account that only when performing all the subtleties of installation can be ensured the comfort of staying in the house.

Dimensions of construction

Installation of a sewerage well on the site is carried out for several days. Before determining the volume of the structure, you should find out which well will be installed in a certain location. If a cumulative construction is arranged, it is better to make it quite large. This will provide a more rare cleaning.

However, an impressive amount assumes the presence of a large number of impurities. Time to clean the structure will go much more than in the case of a small tank. To accurately determine the size of the well, it is necessary to calculate its indicators according to a special formula, depending on the size of the house and the number of people living in it.

Attention! The water flow and the volume of the well also depends on the volume of water consumption and the specific conditions for using the sewage system.

It is worth taking into account the average data:

  • You can say that for 1 person an average of about 150 liters of sewage per day.
  • If the house has a family of 4 people, the volume of waste water will be 700 liters. However, such indicators do not take into account the frequent use of devices that consume water.
  • The well must be of this size to take into account the minimum consumption for 3 days. For a family of 4 people, its volume should be made equal to 2.5 m 3.

It is worth noting that with frequent invitations guests should take into account the additional waste of water. It is also necessary to remember that the level of sewage should not reach a mark of 1 m from the top edge of the structure. If you do not monitor the level of sewage, they can easily overflow.

Rotary and nodal wells are smaller. For example, a differential design will be performed to this size to take into account the height of the drop. The stronger the differential, the larger the well should be. However, there is a certain limitation - it is not worth doing it deeper than 3 m. This is due to the fact that cleaning the structure in this case will be very difficult.

Sanitary norms

When deciding whether to perform a well sealed or leave a certain number of holes for sewage outlet, it is worth familiarizing with the GOST standards. Sewage wells having more than 1 m 3 of drainage must necessarily be sealed. Otherwise, it is necessary to equip a sufficiently high-quality cleaning system.

If the norms are not followed, the bacteria that live in the soil can not cope with water purification. The impurities will fall into the ground and into agricultural plantations.

According to established norms, if it is necessary to build a sealed well, it should be concreted. Also it needs to be covered with a sealant. However, it is worth considering that to create a sealed well you will need to prepare a lot of consumables. Also it is necessary to take care of the private export of sewage.

The most popular variant is the construction of an installation with a filter bottom. Through it, the purification of impurities will be performed.

Attention! If a decision is made to make a well with a septic tank, certain requirements must be met. For example, the depth is calculated according to the type of soil.

Wells of the delta, nodal and pivot type are completely sealed. Also it is worth remembering that when draining domestic water into the sewer, it is not necessary to install a filtering well. This is due to the draining of chemicals and detergents. Repair of sewerage wells after correct installation  is extremely rare.

Building a well

The construction of the well is performed in accordance with certain stages. Particular attention should be paid to such work:

  • First you need to dig a hole of the right volume. Such work is carried out manually or by means of an excavator. In the latter case, the time will be much less.
  • The bottom of the filtration well is covered with crushed stone. Its layer should have a height of 40 cm. It is necessary to find out at what depth the soil waters lie. If it is high, only hermetic structures are allowed to be used. Otherwise, the risk of serious diseases that occur on the site, people, increases. Groundwater will be polluted by sewage, which can cause significant fines.
  • Once the pit is ready, the bottom of the structure should be laid. For this purpose, you need to install the plate. The bottom is carried out with a certain slope, which should be directed to the hatch. The ice needs to be installed on the walls and the pipe connected. The walls should be treated with sealant.

After this, it is necessary to install an overlap with a hatch, covered with earth. This solution will provide reliable thermal insulation of the well. The hatch must be made in such a way that it opens freely. A ventilation pipe is also being constructed, which will surface 60 cm above the ground level. If not ventilated, an explosive methane will form in the tank.

Once everything is established, you can start operation of the sewer system. However, it is worth remembering that for the fullness of the well should be observed regularly. Once the tank is full, you need to call a sewage machine.

Attention! To increase the amount of time between calls of scavengers, various drugs should be used. In summer it is better to use bioactivators. They are absolutely safe for the environment. In winter it is necessary to use chemical means.

Wells are made of plastic, bricks, reinforced concrete rings, wood and materials. The cost of constructing a sewage well may be quite high, but these funds are worth it to improve the comfort of living in a country house. The costs that are associated with the construction of a quality sewage system pay off fairly quickly. During the works it is necessary to carry out the maximum accurate calculations. This will make the sewerage more efficient.

  • Types and varieties
  • Materials and volumes
  • Preparing for installation
  • Setting an object

Sewage well  is the only and indispensable device for removing impurities from living quarters in the country, in the village and private houses in the city. He creates convenience in the house, which makes rest and life at the dacha more comfortable. The construction of a sewer well is not difficult, but many make mistakes in its construction.

In the central sewer system, wells are needed in order that it is possible to easily clean the system and monitor its condition.

Infringements of rules of elementary safety at designing and a construction of the water drain are fraught with pollution of ground waters and soil that leads to serious consequences of contamination of district.

Considering that at the moment there is a choice of the type of construction and the volume of the wells, the amateur can make the wrong choice. In addition, many professional builders do not always know how to build sewerage wells, since this is an atypical building site.

Types and varieties

At the moment, builders distinguish several types of sewage pits:

  1. Sewage wells. They are built if there is a need to monitor the functioning of the entire system.
  2. Differential wells. Are built on the slopes, in beams and other places where there are possible drops of sewerage pipelines.
  3. Turning. They are often installed as intermediate in areas where pipes are turned to prevent blockages
  4. Filtration. They have the function of cleaning sewage water.
  5. Cumulative. Collect (accumulate) waste water.

However, in practice, the same pit can perform several functions at once.

Sewage wells provide access to sewerage systems, which allows for their inspection and repair (if necessary) and makes it possible to control the degree of their contamination, the presence of blockages and to clean the system. Such pits are used in places where the direction of the pipes is changed, in the presence of slopes, with a change in the diameter of the pipeline, at the points of joining / joining several pipes.

The rotary well for sewerage is often used at the turning points of pipelines, as well as pipe joints at an angle of 45 °. This design avoids clogging of the system and the formation of plugs. Usually such wells have inspection functions.

The differential type is used when several pipelines are combined at different levels of occurrence. This is solved by increasing the depth of the well to the level of the lowest collector. This allows you to connect sewerage and deep-seam collectors, bypass the intersection of underground structures and communications, prevent the collection of speed by sewage on downhill slopes, to correlate the discharge levels of the shore's wastewater with the water levels in the reservoirs.

In this case, if the difference is 60 cm in height and the diameter of the collector does not exceed 50 cm, this type is constructed vertically with a water intake pit, which has the same cross-section as the pipeline. For smaller differences, not a difference type is built, but a lookout type.

The filter type is used to clean the drain, but they can only be built if the building is located on sandy and sandy loamy ground. Another prerequisite for the construction of such a well is the depth of groundwater flow, they should be at least 1 m below the bottom of the well. At the same time, the water flow in the building should not exceed 50-60 liters per day (by about 3 residents). The area of the well should not exceed 1.5 m 2 on sandy loam and 1 m 2 on sands. At the same time, wells with already installed treatment facilities are on sale. With the development of eco-technologies, their cost has decreased, and at the moment they are available for the majority. In addition, the installation of sewerage wells with installed cleaning constructions  simple, allows you not to use heavy equipment. That's why this type of popularity is gaining popularity these days.

The cumulative species is considered to be the most modern and environmentally friendly kind of sewerage wells. They are sufficiently voluminous (the volume can reach 50,000 liters), the reservoir is sealed and does not pollute environment, the tightness does not allow the spread of unpleasant odors. However, the cost of building such an object is quite large: it can not be built by oneself. Widely used they found in the treatment plants of large objects: the cleaning stations of cities, industrial enterprises, military facilities, etc.

Materials and volumes

At the end of the XIX beginning of the XX century. all the wells were made of bricks. In the middle of the twentieth century, steel was made of reinforced concrete, but now the most common are plastic structures. They can significantly reduce the cost construction works  and installation costs. However, in the countries of the former USSR this type has not found its application, since it is not resistant to low temperatures. Now near of Russian manufacturers  began the development and manufacture of plastic wells for the cold zone.

Externally, structures of all types of material are absolutely identical. They have a shaft pipe, a lid, sewage entry points. At the same time, holes for sewer pipesof the in a brick well laid out, in reinforced concrete - drilled, and in plastic they usually do in advance. Therefore, the construction of reinforced concrete and brick is much more expensive compared to plastic.

The lids of all wells are equipped with rainwater receivers, which makes it possible to build a storm drain in them. Hatches are usually made of cast iron and have their own load classes. Classes "B" and "D" are most common, which withstand 12.5 and 40 tons, respectively.

It is necessary to build a sewage system and a well from its own resources, because it depends on which type of material will be used.

The volume of the sewage well is severely limited. So, the maximum permissible height is only 2500 mm. The diameter is a maximum of 1 meter, but modern ready-made wells have a diameter in the range of 400-700 mm. More precisely, the volume of the well is selected based on the type of soil in which it is planned to be installed. To increase the volume of the well (if necessary), it is necessary to build an additional 1 or several wells nearby, connecting all the overflow systems.

Preparing for installation

Before starting the installation of the wells, drain pipes should be laid. For this purpose, the detailed scheme  sanitation, which is drawn from existing normative documents. The following points should be taken into account in the scheme:

  1. It is necessary to clearly define the outlet of the sewer pipe from the basement / basement of the building. This affects the location of the object. At the same time, we must not forget that the sludge must be approached by the sludge for pumping waste.
  2. The requirements of SNiPa should be strictly observed. So the interval between 2 pits should not be more than 15 m. The interval is considered to the nearest pit (including neighbor's). The interval from the pit to the structure should be in the range from 3 to 12 m. The installation of sewerage wells of filtration type requires a distance of 30 m from the water supply or water intake.
  3. The section of sewer pipes from the building to the well must be straight and without any differences in height. If this is not done, then pipe clogging is possible.

After determining the location of the object, calculate its volume. So for the calculation, the figure is 150 liters of drain per person per day. On a family of 4 people, the consumption is assumed equal to 700 liters per day. On this basis, the well must have a minimum volume of 2.4 m 3.

When designing, preference should be given to sealed wells without groundwater. This is especially important, since it is almost impossible to determine the type of soil and the depth of groundwater flow on its own.

If a brick or reinforced concrete well is chosen, then a foundation must be made for it, which significantly increases the cost of performing the construction work. In addition, to dig a hole for the foundation and to install the well itself is possible only with the help of heavy equipment (excavator).

The foundation is also constructed under a plastic well, but it will be less massive. To build a foundation for brick or reinforced concrete use wild stone or crushed stone. Any material should be laid with a septic tank. The foundation must have an area of at least 2 times the area of the well. The thickness of the foundation depends on the volume and material of the well. For a 2,4 m 3 well, the necessary foundation thickness is 40 cm. A reinforced concrete slab is installed on the foundation to ensure stability and avoid distortion.

To ensure that the foundation of the house is not destroyed due to the influence of moisture contained in the soil, it is mandatory to make a drainage system. To save money, it is recommended to build a drainage well for sewerage by one's own hands or ask for help from specialists.

What drainage wells exist?

Drainage wells can be:

  • rotary;
  • viewing;
  • collector;
  • absorbing.

Features of rotary wells

Typically, during the operation of the sewage system, pollution occurs, which often accumulates in perforated pipes. To clean them you will need to install rotary shafts. They are installed on the corners of the pipes, with a pass through one. Thus, access to the supply and discharge pipe section is provided.

Installation of concrete drainage well

The size of such a structure will depend on whether a person will need access to the well in order to carry out repair activities. Thus, the approximate diameter of the well should be about one meter, only it will already be considered a sighting.

Inspection type of wells

Drainage inspection facilities are made for the purpose of monitoring the operation of the sewage system. This design is distinguished by the large dimensions of the shaft, that is, it must be of sufficient size for easy access of a person who will monitor the condition of the sewage system. If necessary, repair and preventive works will be carried out.

  installation of a plastic drainage well

The construction of this type is designed to perform several actions at the same time, it can also be rotary, as it is also installed at the point of convergence of several pipes or at the point of their rotation.

Absorption type of wells

These facilities can also be called filtering, as they are most often installed in areas where there is a need for drainage, and there is no possibility of outputting currents to the common sewerage system. In such cases, the depth of the wells will be approximately two meters.

For the construction of a similar design, it is necessary to observe a certain technology:

  • first, a pit of the required size is dug out;
  • a layer of gravel is placed on its bottom and a container is put inside, it can be a pipe 50 cm in diameter;
  • when this pipe is installed, broken brick, gravel, slag or gravel of a small fraction fall into it;
  • around this filled structure make gravel;
  • thus, a good and qualitative drainage tank is obtained. From above it must be covered with geotextile and lay a layer of earth. As a result of these actions, a structure is obtained, through which a natural drainage of waste water into the ground is carried out.

  principle of operation of a sink drainage well

Manifolds

Such structures can also be called water intake, as this is the last compartment of the closed drainage system. In this well there is a collection and accumulation of water, which in the future will be pumped to a previously prepared deepening, ditch or artificial pond.

  installation and selection of a collector well

Typically, these containers are constructed from finished sealed plastic wells that are equipped with a waterproof bottom.

What materials may be needed for the installation of the drainage structure?

Like pipes, drainage wells can differ in material and size. Most often, plastic or concrete is used for the production of such structures:

  • for the implementation of the second option, concrete rings are used, the height and diameter of which can be different. Installation of the structure is carried out in a previously prepared pit, with the rings lowered neatly with the help of special equipment. In this case, the main advantage will be the strength and durability of the structure, and the disadvantage is the laboriousness of the installation work;
  • now plastic analogues are successfully replacing concrete wellsbecause they are easier and faster to mount. Also, the advantages include low cost, low weight and the availability of all required taps. Plastic drainage wells are not exposed to corrosive damage and can successfully last at least 50 years. For a quality and reliable supply of pipes use rubber seals, which remain tight for decades. Since the use of a corrugated tube is envisaged, the device will be securely anchored in the ground because of its ribs.

How to build a drainage tank?

Drainage structures in finished form for the construction of the well are convenient for installation, reliability and good quality. The main drawback finished wells  is their high cost, in particular, it concerns products with a diameter of 800-1000 mm. To save money, you can build such a structure yourself.

  drainage tank construction

To manufacture a drainage structure it is required to acquire corrugated pipes of the appropriate diameter:

  • for the construction of inspection wells, the diameter of the pipes is 340 mm or 460 mm, this is enough to ensure that the sewage system is cleaned manually by means of the water pressure from the hose;
  • to make a storage or filter reservoir, pipes with a diameter of 575 or 695 mm are required;
  • if there is a need to periodically enter the well for repair and preventive works, then you need to buy pipes with a diameter of 925 mm.

In addition to plastic corrugated pipes  You also need to buy rubber seals of suitable diameter, a hatch and plastic for the bottom device.

In order to save, you can buy components separately.

During the assembly and installation of the storage facility, a certain sequence should be observed:

  • in the well, holes are opened for piping and installing rubber seals;
  • the bottom of the well is mounted. Experts recommend that the bottom of the structure be treated with bituminous mastic, so the bottom of the well will be protected from leaks;
  • using rubble and sand, you need to make a base in the drainage ditch, after which it is poured with cement;
  • a ready-made structure is installed on the prepared bottom. To prevent the risk of leakage of the structure, it is recommended to cover the places of drainage pipes with bitumen mastic;
  • the reservoir is filled with crushed stone and sand, after which the base is tilled and laid for the hatch device. The hatch is placed in a pre-prepared frame of cement.

The presence of a hatch is a prerequisite, as it is necessary for cleaning the drainage system. The service life of a structure directly depends on the correct manufacture and installation of the well.

Step-by-step construction of a well

When all the materials have already been purchased and prepared, you can proceed with the installation work:

  • First, the pipe must be cut lengthwise, taking into account the depth of the drainage well.
  • You need to cut out the holes for the pipes, retreating 50 cm from the bottom edge of the pipe. In these holes rubber cuffs are inserted.
  • The bottom of the well is fixed, and the place of joining must be treated with a sealing compound on a bituminous basis.
  • For the installation of the well, it is necessary to prepare the foundation pit in advance, to which cement mortar is poured on the bottom.
  • The construction can be installed only after the cement has completely solidified, after which drain pipes are brought to it.
  • The space formed between the walls of the excavation and the structure, it is necessary to fill it with sand with gravel.
  • A hatch is placed on top of the installed tank.

Features of mounting of plastic wells

As a rule, ready-made plastic constructions are not cheap, so it will not be possible to save particularly. The only thing that can be done is to buy individual elements of the necessary size and diameter independently. So, you need to prepare:

  • corrugated pipe of appropriate diameter;
  • plastic for the bottom device;
  • seals made of rubber. To install a collecting or filtration well, a pipe with a diameter of 695 or 575 mm is required.

During the installation of the drainage well itself, it is important to adhere to a certain algorithm:

  • the corrugated pipe must be cut, taking into account the depth of the well. Next, it requires making holes for connecting perforated pipes, which are connected using rubber seals;
  • digging out a ditch, to the bottom of which lies a layer of gravel with sand. After that, the building is poured with cement mortar and is covered with geotextile material;
  • the next stage establishes a bottom, which is connected to the pipe, while the connecting place needs to be treated with bituminous mastic;
  • now it is possible to make draining pipes to the structure, and joints should also be smeared with a sealing compound;
  • it is necessary to install a pump that will pump out the collecting water;
  • the formed voids around the well must be filled with fine-grained rubble;
  • at the last stage of the work the roof is mounted.

Let's sum up

A necessary part of the drainage system is the drainage tank. It is installed for the purpose of monitoring the operation of the entire system, also it is necessary to perform repair and preventive measures.

To simplify the process of installing the structure, you can buy a finished product that will cost a lot, but if it is not possible, you can build it yourself. For this, pipes made of plastic or a ring of concrete of the required diameter are used.

In fact, building a drainage structure is not as difficult as it seems at first glance. It is enough to purchase the required set of parts and adhere to a certain algorithm of actions.
