The subject of the Agreement is the development of children's tourism based on the implementation of the educational tourism project “Live Lessons”, aimed at “introducing tourist excursion activities into educational programs of general and vocational education” in accordance with the action plan for the implementation of the Tourism Development Strategy in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2020, approved by order of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Therefore, it is completely natural for them to strive for cooperation and interaction to accomplish these tasks. You can learn more about the educational programs offered by clicking below.

Integrated lesson (Art + English) in 5th grade on the topic “Art in English. Art in English" at the Raduga Convention and Exhibition Center

The excursion and educational project “Live Lessons” was created according to the idea of Tatyana Kozlovskaya, general director of the travel company “Inters-Rus” and member of the Coordination Council for the Development of Children’s Tourism. The first “Live Lessons” took place in Moscow several years ago. One of his main ideas is the introduction of excursion and tourism activities into the general educational process. The project turned out to be so interesting that the initiative was almost immediately taken up by the Republic of Buryatia and the Yaroslavl region. Now eight regions have already joined it, including the Perm Territory, the Astrakhan Region and the Republic of Mari El.

The first interregional conference on the development of excursion and educational tourism “Live Lessons” brought together more than 400 representatives of the tour operator community, museums, the education system and regional administrations from 18 constituent entities of the Russian Federation in Chuvashia in April 2016. During the conversation, the leaders of the “Live Lessons” project in the Republic Khakassia and the Sverdlovsk region shared their experience in the field of educational tourism. An agreement was signed on the implementation of the “Live Lessons” project between the Russian Union of Tourism Industry and the Republics of Buryatia and Mari El, the Perm Territory, the Astrakhan and Kirov regions.

At the conference, tour operators, teachers, school principals, representatives of the Ministry of Education, museum employees, and heads of municipalities of the republic gathered together for the first time at a round table. They discussed the problems of interaction between tour operators and educational organizations, and tried to find ways to overcome them. During the conversation, it became clear that both parties were interested in each other.

Schools are looking for social partners and resources to develop children’s emotional and personal intelligence. The school curriculum even provides for these purposes up to 40% of extracurricular time in the lower grades, since this is the period of the most active socialization of the individual, and up to 20% in middle and high school. Excursions and travel have a great influence on the development of social intelligence in schoolchildren. The “Live Lessons” project precisely helps create conditions for interaction between tour operators and educational organizations. Eight constituent entities of the Russian Federation are already ready to implement the project on their territories.

May 26, 2016 The II Interregional Conference on the development of excursion and educational tourism “Live Lessons” took place in Yekaterinburg at the site of the “Big Ural” forum. Interaction between regional and municipal administrations and tour operators.”
The project was supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, which organized the conference.

The conference included a Plenary session and 2 round tables:
. The “Living Lessons” project and its impact on the economic development of regions;
. The role of regional and municipal administrations in creating conditions for interaction between educational institutions and tour operators.

Thanks to the support of the federal government and the participation of the regions, it became the federal school exchange project “Live Lessons”

The interregional coordination and expert council of the “Living Lessons” project took place on April 18, 2017 at the Palace of the State Museum-Estate “Arkhangelskoye”. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The Federal Tourism Agency was represented by Deputy Head Alexey Konyushkov.

The Council for the Development of the excursion and educational project in the field of tourism “Live Lessons” brought together on one site more than 50 heads of regional authorities in the field of culture and tourism from 23 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as well as representatives of the tour operator community and the education system. The event participants discussed strategic objectives for the development of domestic and inbound children's tourism based on the implementation of the “Living Lessons” project and its impact on the economic development of the regions.

As part of the events, on April 18, the Environmental Forum “Live Lessons” was also held, dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia. More than 300 schoolchildren from Moscow and Russian regions, as well as students from the Russian State University of Tourism and Service took part in the forum.

The excursion and educational project “Live Lessons” has already become an effective platform for interaction between tour operators, educational organizations and museums of the country. One of his main ideas is the introduction of excursion and tourism activities into the general educational process. The project has been implemented for just over a year; currently 25 constituent entities of the Russian Federation have joined it.

“Russia has enormous resources for the development of educational tourism - these are nature reserves, museum sites, cultural institutions, industrial enterprises and scientific institutes. The “Living Lessons” project is intended to become the basis for creating a system of children's excursion and educational tourism based on the interaction of interested departments, regional authorities, and tourism market participants. The project will improve the quality of service in the field of children’s tourism and at the same time expand opportunities for the spiritual, creative development of children, and the patriotic education of the younger generation,” notes Oleg Safonov, Head of the Federal Tourism Agency.

“Modern schoolchildren need new forms of presenting educational material and new forms of educational work. Visualization of educational programs will help expand and consolidate knowledge, and traveling around their native country will provide all children with equal access to the natural and cultural values of the state,” says Tatyana Kozlovskaya, head of the “Living Lessons” project.
