A multicooker is a popular modern device that can greatly speed up and simplify the preparation of dishes. In addition, it replaces many other devices, so it also frees up space in the kitchen. You can prepare many dishes, from porridge to dessert. For example, you can make an original and simple dish - spaghetti in a slow cooker.

Pasta in a slow cooker can serve excellently or fish. Pasta is a source of carbohydrates, but can also be considered a dietary dish. The main thing is not to get carried away with fatty sauces. It is not for nothing that many Italian women who eat a variety of pasta every day, even in old age, can boast of a beautiful figure, as well as beautiful skin and hair - pasta made from durum wheat contains vitamins and fiber. So, it’s decided - we cook spaghetti in a slow cooker.

Of course, you can simply boil them in hot water. But sometimes there is practically no time to cook something, but you still want to try something new and unusual. Cooking will be the best solution for this situation.

Let's start with the simplest recipe. Using the "Pilaf" mode, place the pasta in the multicooker, add oil and a small amount of water. Typically, the program takes forty minutes. If you use the "Soup" mode, everything will be ready faster, in twenty minutes.

You can pre-fry vegetables and meat in the “Baking” mode, then add pasta and add a little water. After this, you need to turn on the “Pilaf” mode or the “Meat” mode for twenty minutes. The peculiarity of using the mode for pilaf is that with this preparation the pasta does not boil, burn or dry out. If you use a higher temperature, the dish may burn, so you will need to stir it constantly.

One of the most original ways to cook spaghetti in a slow cooker is a casserole. Boiled ones need to be fried in the “Baking” mode for ten minutes, after which the mixture is poured with milk and eggs and sprinkled with cheese. The dish is prepared for half an hour using the “Baking” mode. Instead of vegetables, you can use mushrooms, eggplants, meat or fish for casserole.

Another version of everyone’s favorite dish is navy pasta. First you need to cook spaghetti in a slow cooker; you can use the method described first. After which you need to remove the spaghetti and rinse it. Finely chopped onions and carrots with vegetable oil and minced meat are fried in the “Frying” mode for about a quarter of an hour. Pre-cooked spaghetti is added to the mixture, everything is mixed and fried for another five minutes in the same mode. That's it, navy-style pasta is ready using a multicooker.

Finally, a delicious Italian style recipe - pasta with creamy sauce. For it you need to cook the onion for five minutes in the “Fry” mode, then add a glass of cream and a little grated Parmesan, as well as some spices, such as ginger and pepper. Stir until the cheese has melted, then add the egg and stir quickly. The spicy one is ready, all you have to do is cook your favorite type of pasta in a slow cooker, pour the sauce over it and turn on the “Stew” mode for ten minutes. When serving, you can add grated cheese and fresh basil.

There were already several recipes on the site. Today I want to offer another recipe, which differs from the previous ones in an unusual way of preparation. This recipe can be used to successfully make even inexpensive types of pasta. The secret is pre-frying the dry (raw) pasta.

Ingredients:

  • pasta (horns, shells - whatever you like) - 200 gr.
  • odorless vegetable oil.
  • salt and seasonings to taste.
  • water - 400 gr.

How to cook pasta in a slow cooker:

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl to cover the entire bottom, turn on the “baking” mode, pour dry raw pasta into the multicooker bowl, mix well so that they are all coated with oil, and fry for 10-15 minutes until the pasta turns slightly brown.

Open the lid a couple of times and stir.

After the pasta has darkened, pour hot water so that it covers the pasta and is a finger above it. I found experimentally that you need twice as much water as pasta, and then everything works out great. For example, 200 grams of pasta requires 400 grams of water.

Don’t forget to add salt, you can add seasonings, I have curry, suneli hops and ground pepper.

Turn off the “baking” program, turn on the “pilaf” program, cook pasta in the multicooker until the signal.

Pilaf program in a multicooker Panasonic works until the liquid evaporates. If you don't like a crispy crust, you can open it, look, try it, and turn it off a little earlier.

You can also add onions, garlic, carrots to the pasta, frying them together with the pasta, or add sausages to the pasta a few minutes before finishing.

Bon appetit!!!

Sincerely, Oksana Baibakova.

It would seem that such a simple dish as pasta, there is no need to cook. But it wasn’t that it was much more convenient to cook pasta in it. There is no need to bring the water to a boil, stir the pasta and drain the water. Everything is much simpler. How? Look below...

How to cook pasta in the Polaris 0517 multicooker:

1. For 200 g of pasta you will need 350 ml of water. A small piece of butter and salt to taste. It is better to use durum pasta.

2. Pour pasta into the multicooker bowl and add water (the water should be slightly higher than the pasta, but no more). Add oil, salt and mix. Add the oil immediately so that they do not stick together during the cooking process. There is also no need to rinse them under cold water.

3. The Polaris 0517 multicooker has a wonderful “Pasta” program, which is designed to evaporate water. Let's turn it on. Cooking time will depend on your type of pasta. I set it to 9 minutes. Look at the packaging; there are usually recommendations for cooking time. If you do not have the “pasta” program, install the “Pilaf” program, it is also designed for evaporation. Or if there is a “multi-cook”, set it to 100 degrees, time from 7 to 12 minutes.

4. After the sound signal, the pasta in the Polaris multicooker will be completely ready for use. You don't even need to drain the water. They were cooked for me, but didn’t have time to fry. I think if you leave them on the heat for another 5-10 minutes after the end of the program, they will fry on the bottom, which is also not bad. And some people will like it even better.

5. By the way, immediately when cooking pasta, you can install a grill with vegetables. 9 - 12 minutes will be enough to cook them.

6. You can add grated carrots to the pasta itself. Then they will turn out bright and cheerful. (I made these pasta with carrots another time)

Simplicity and speed of preparation have made pasta one of the most popular quick meals, along with semi-finished products. You can do it on the stove, or you can use more modern technologies: microwave ovens or multicookers. Cooking pasta in the latter will be discussed in this article.
